Ant-Man and the Wasp hits theaters on July 6th, 2018.
At the present moment, all eyes are on Avengers: Infinity War and if you haven't seen that yet, Ant-Man and The Wasp is going to have a unique place next to the Russos latest blockbuster.
Peyton Reed directs from a screenplay by Chris McKenna & Erik Sommers, Andrew Barrer & Gabriel Ferrari, and Paul Rudd. If you haven't seen the film, surely you've noticed that Ant-Man and The Wasp were missing from nearly all the promotional footage, including the trailers.

To recap, Civil War saw Ant-Man's Scott Lang become a fugitive after joining Captain America/Steve Rogers' group of superhero outlaws following the Sokovia Accords, which were created to regulate the activities of enhanced beings and vigilantes. You've got a giant Ant-Man riding a truck like a razor scooter, you've got Evangeline Lily suiting up as The Wasp, you've got Hannah John-Kamen as Ghost, the film's threatening, phasing villain.
One of the trailer's highlights is, without a doubt, Evangeline Lilly as the Wasp. The story will have Ant-Man and the Wasp teaming up, taking on a new danger to their families and friends.
As explained by Scott's buddy Luis (Michael Peña) - the most beloved character of the first film and the comic relief in a comic relief movie - Pym opened up the Quantum Realm and allowed Ghost to sneak through and steal some of Pym's tech. It's possible this has created a domino effect where Ant-Man has had to be shifted to best maximise the two films.
