Hazard is leading the Premier League charts with five goals so far this season but strikers Olivier Giroud and Alvaro Morata have just one goal between them.

Liverpool's incredible run in the Premier League continues as they beat Southampton pretty comfortably to return to the top of the table.

"I said to Shaq at half time that I'd never taken a player off at half time after such an influential half", said Klopp.

The Europa League proved a costly distraction during the opening weeks for Sean Dyche's men, but with that competition now just a memory, it surely won't be another 12 games before Burnley win again.

And Klopp was happy to welcome another unexpected milestone on his team's journey.

"We see it as a job to do, we have to do it. Saturday was a completely different game [to Spurs and PSG]".

Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has hinted that a 4-2-3-1 formation lacks balance, after implementing it for the first 45 minutes of the Reds win over Southampton.

Pogba: Man United getting better after winning run
The spirit, the cooperation, the empathy, the communication, all of that has improved and good results bring confidence. Souness has no doubts that he would prefer Liverpool's James Milner to Pogba in his side on current form.

"We're in a good moment-we've got a good rhythm, some good performances and good results-so of course we're confident".

"A few weeks ago you all told me there were very tough weeks and nobody thought about Southampton - that made the game a real challenge, apart from the quality of Southampton anyway". I think whenever one of the top six are playing home or away against the rest of the Premier League, you're always thinking "it's a great chance of getting three points".

Virgil van Dijk was taken off during the second half against Southampton and even though Klopp assured the fans it was nothing to be anxious about, it's unlikely we'll see him in action.

"He had already before the PSG game kind of a bruised rib, which is very uncomfortable, and today he got another hit there", he said.

We all love the sport, but we spend a lot of time criticising it and those involved in it, whether it be players, managers or executives.

The Reds begin a double header against Chelsea on Wednesday, before a crucial game against Manchester City at Anfield on 7 October.
