In what has become the typical internet response to a random, non-user-facing Google app, the Play Store listing is already at 4.5 stars with mostly comic 5-star reviews, praising it in exaggerated and unrealistic terms for the miracles it has bestowed upon Pixel owners.
The NOTCH, barely announced and no surprises. Both Facebook and Google are finding that hardware is, well, hard. According to a new report by the Economic Times, Google could be looking to get into the e-commerce space as well, but only for its own hardware products.
For instance, the camera's features for better shots will take advantage of software on the device itself, so that nothing gets sent to Google's servers - unless you enable a backup feature with Google Photos. They may be hinting this at the Apple.
But Google is undercutting Apple on price. The software, launching on U.S. Pixels only, answers calls, requests information about the nature of the calls and shares it as text with the recipient. Google's new 2-in-1 device, Pixel Slate, comes with a redesigned Chrome OS that just might have solved the conundrum.

Going from a small experiment to a polished product that works in various languages and is backed by large sales, support and technical teams has been part of Google's challenge.
The Pixel Stand will cost you, though. The Home Hub perhaps embodies this move the best, using YouTube for its most useful recipe and music functions, and introducing the Home View dashboard for Nest branded smart home products. While Google didn't specifically say up on stage that it's coming to older devices like the Pixel 2, we have a sneaking suspicion that it will eventually.
"With Pixel 3, we should see less of the supply issues that impacted the initial sales of the Pixel 2", said Mr Mark Hung, research vice-president at market research firm Gartner. This is an especially hot topic considering the fact that Google added a dual-lens camera to the front of both phones.
Google has dominated headlines in the tech world this past week. Home Hub will weigh 480 grams.
You can also control the lights from the Google Home app, as well as set up more advanced features like routines and schedules.
