It was a mix of vast experience and technical approach that Mary used to massacre Ukraine's Hanna Okhota in the light flyweight (48kg) class with a unanimous decision to become the first woman pugilist to clinch six world titles.

While Sonia seemed anxious at the big stage, 35-year-old Mary Kom looked in ideal shape through the 48 kg light flyweight summit clash.

Mary Kom won a historic 6th gold at the Boxing World Championships to become the most decorated women's boxer at the competition.
