The Vive Cosmos is the other new VR headset unveiled by HTC which has a more mass-market appeal to it and is designed easily of use and module-based customization in mind.

The Vive Cosmos VR headset will be based on Vive Reality system, which ensures seamless movement during your VR journey.

The VR world has been waiting anxiously for a new PC-powered VR headset, and HTC delivered at CES 2019. In fairness, owning a VR headset, there are more than a few sensors and cables that make using it a little bit of a faff.

Eye tracking also brings foveated rendering, which increases quality in the portion of the images where your eye is actually looking.

When looked at from a gameplay perspective eye-tracking is great for player engagement, whether that's with another human player or an NPC (non-player character). HTC also introduced Viveport Infinity, which is a new monthly subscription service starting Aril 5, 2018. In a deal with the Mozilla Foundation, Firefox becomes the default browser in all HTC VR headsets, while under a separate deal, HTC will leverage Amazon.com Inc.
